Wine as Art

Painting of iconic Georgian Bay for our Georgian Bay Rose Painting of the Torrence Barrens for our Wild Blueberry Wines

When we started the winery, our goal was to make wines that reflected the beautiful, rugged place we call home. We wanted our wines to reflect Muskoka inside and out, so we went in search of a local artist to paint scenes of the area for our lables.

David Dawson's work is vivid and compelling. The original three paintings he did for us were three scenes of the marsh. The fourth, for our Wild Blueberry Wine, was of the Torrence Barrens, where wild blueberries grow in abundance. His latest image is of Georgian Bay for our Georgian Bay Rosé.

David Dawson's studio is in Steamboat Bay in Gravenhurst.
